Ageratum - Blue Horizon
'Blue Horizon' Ageratum is one plant that is in my garden every
year. I use it in my flower bouquets and I love the color in the
garden. It is very complimentary with other plants. I use blue as a
neutral color in my garden. I love 'Blue Horizon' in front of
'Marshmallow' Nicotiana, Tithonia, Cosmos and other tall back of
the border plants. It also looks great with the perennial
'Moonbeam' Coreopsis. The only color that I do not like it planted
near is purple. This plant never looks that great in the small 4" pot
that I sell in the spring. It needs to get in the ground, where after a
little time, it will really start to shine. I give each plant at least 12"
to 15" of space. As this Ageratum fills in, it never disappoints.
