HOW IT GROWS IN MY GARDEN
Tropical plants have really become my favorite plants to use when
I fill a container to have around the house. I love 'Green Velvet'
Elephant Ear with its soft velvety look and nothing is easier then
adding a few impatiens or a fern and you have a great looking
container. Elephant Ears are also great plants planted right in
the garden. I find on my property that Elephant Ears do much
better in partial shade to shade. In full sun, they droop much too
often and it requires too much watering. If you are planting an
Elephant Ear in a container, make sure it is large enough to
balance the height of the plant.
