Red Cypress Vine
Ipomoea quamoclit  Cardinalis

'Red Cypress Vine' is often confused with Red Cardinal Climber.
(Last year, I received the wrong seed from a seed company.
They advertised Cardinal Climber seed, and when the seed
germinated and started to grow, I knew after seeing the leaves
that something wasn't right.) 'Red Cypress Vine' is quite lovely
with it's lacy fern-like foliage.  The red tubular flowers are a
little smaller then the flowers of Cardinal Climber.  By the end
of the summer, this vine will not be as massive as Cardinal
Climber.  It has a more delicate look.

Full Sun Annual
Height: 12 to 25 feet
