Rudbeckia - Annual Varieties

Rudbeckia hirta 'Prairie Sun'- Enormous single and
semi-double golden-yellow blooms on strong and
vigorous plants. Sometimes 'Prairie Sun' will survive
our zone 6 winters, but best to treat as an annual.
Occasional self-sowing is not uncommon. 'Prairie Sun'
blooms from mid-summer to frost. The flowers have a
lovely light green-eyed center and this plant really
draws your eye to the garden. Rudbeckia 'Prairie Sun'
is also a great addition to a cut flower garden.

Rudbeckia hirta 'Cherry Brandy'- Very similar to
'Prairie Sun' in its growing conditions. 'Cherry
Brandy' is a smaller plant with slightly smaller
flowers. The color is a very pretty cherry-red with
dark eyes. This plant also produces a very nice cut
flowers with a long vase life.
