Arctotis  - African Daisy
HOW IT GROWS IN MY GARDEN

year I must put at least one plant in my garden.  This plant
needs  full sun.  Arctotis is so different from other plants.  The
foliage is a silvery-gray and the flowers are silvery-white I
have been growing Arctotis  for at least 10 years and every
daisies with a blue center.  At night and on cloudy days the
petals close up.  They even do this when you use Arctotis in a I
have been growing Arctotis  for at least 10 years and every
flower arrangement.  This always makes me smile. This plant
doesn't need the best soil, in fact I think it grows better and is
alittle less leggy if the soil isn't that great.  Arctotis does need
at least 24" of space. It will fill in.  Once a summer, usually
around August I may trim this plant back alittle to give it a
neater appearance.
